We need a copy of Simile help so that it can be updated offline while the current help remains available to users. To this end the book copy module was installed but it breaks the internal links.
The default basis for the bread crumb trail is the menu. The "Modelling approaches" topics trail works This doesn't work if the page's parent isn't in the menu, the trail only goes as far as the closest ancestor in the menu.
If the page is a book page the book hierrachy then dictates the crumb trail.
In playing around to get things to look right I've made the tutorials part of a book rather than individual books. The crumb trail is then OK but the book contents page under the table of tutorials is not wanted
The root home page looks plainer than the original sites - the flat layout doesn't draw the eye to sections. The main problem is that the side bars take up too much width leaving a narrow main centre section.
It should be a matter of modifying the theme css or other specification files. Actually should make a specific Simulistics theme based on one of the provided themes.
