Hello,
im having a problem at the moment.
i have a blank work sheet
i create a submodel with nothing in it
i then double click on it so that i can adjust the number of instances
of that submodel and an error message comes up saying something
like 'dissagreggation already exists in parent'
this is after closing simile, and then opening a blank worksheet..
cheers

My submodel does not allow me to double click on it
it also says sometimes, 'unknown coulor name clear'
My submodel does not allow me to double click on it
Hello,
shutting down the computer helped to fix the problem in the new worksheet
but now the model i am working on is not allowing me to change the instances, coulor etc...
i copied this model from another model by selecting the submodels
copying and pasting. into a new worksheet which was opened from within the
copied from model.
the copied from model originated by double clicking on the border of a submodel i created earlier and then saving as a seperate file..
can you follow what ive done?

My submodel does not allow me to double click on it
I can't create models with any problems like that.
Do you get these problems with all models, or only this particular one?
If only this one, could you attach it here please? Or else send it to
Thanks

I fixed the problem
Hello,
i figured a way to fix the problem,
i had to delete all the submodels (6 of them)
and then copy the variables and flows etc,
then open a new simile page and paste, then redraw submodels around
the variables etc,
but i am sending you an old model with this problem
so maybe you can tell me how i did it in the first place
ps Ctrl C and ctrl V never work in my simile......
cheers LS

Hi LS,
Thanks for sending me your model. Still trying to figure out how you came up with this problem -- in the mean time I can at least give you an easier workaround. If you have a submodel that whose properties you cannot edit, just delete the submodel boundary, leaving its contents, and draw a new submodel boundary around the contents. The new submodel will be OK.
Cheers
