You are here

When loading the file simile adds another row named others.

After importing a file into a PEST RUN output file and then initiating the run. A pop-up appears saying that other is where a number should be and you get an error message.  When I go to the import and view the file it has an extra row called others and data use-last.  Usually when I fiddle long enough it will go away. I need help.

Previous comment was related to Simile 5.8.  I used this by accident.  However when I use 5.9 I get an error message that says (PEST has not produced any output. Please check that it is installed and that location of the executables is included in the path environment variable) when I try to run PEST.

Hi, I just verified that the PEST interface works OK with my installation of Simile v5.9 under Windows. The only reason I can think of that might cause it to work in v5.8 but not in v5.9 is if you installed the PEST executable in the System/bin directory of Simile v5.8.

There is a newer release available now -- v5.94 -- which might address your problem. Cheers,
