Table function: Is interpolation between data points possible?

I am trying to use the "table function" instead of the "graph function" because to me it seems more reasonable to have a set of data points lying on a defined function instead of using optical fitting in a graph. Though, I could not find any option that allows for interpolation between two points in the "table function" while this option is provided in the "graph function". Is there really no option for interpolation between the data points provided using the "table function"?
