I am an occasional user of simile and have just replaced my lapptop so was looking to reload simile. The last version that I downloaded was in v5 2012. Does my purchase of v5 allow me to download the newer v6.2?

Hi Craig,
While minor version upgrades are free (e.g. 5.3 to 5.4) For major version upgrades (e.g. 5.9 to 6.0) a charge of half the cost of a licence is made to help cover the development costs.

However, you can upgrade for free to the last version in the v5 series, which is v5.97. This should be downloadable from your account on this site. It is advisable to upgrade because Simile v5.97 can open models created with the later versions.
