Hi,
I would like to use the new features of Simile 6 concerning discrete event modelling. For that I would need examples of simple models implementing this formalism but I did not find any in the model gallery or in the model catalogue at simulistics website.
Could you please provide such model examples or templates?
Thanks,
François
Example of rectangular grid?
In the same order of idea, I would find very useful to look at one example of a Simile 6.3 model using a rectangular grid submodel, since I have trouble with this new feature...
Thank you for your answer.
François
Could you please answer my
Could you please answer my questions posted in October and November last year?...
Please answer my questions...
May I remind you that I am desperately awaiting an answer to my questions posted more than one year ago?
Thanks,
François
Oops
Hi Francois, sorry that for some reason I wasn't getting alerted to the existence of this thread.
I'll put some example models up soon!
Jasper
There are two in SimiLive examples
The SimiLive demos page has a number of models, including two with the pre-defined rectangular grids (fire spread, and Conway's game of life). These are not well documented though, so I am currently working on a clearer version of the fire spread model to add to the model catalogue.
Discrete event example added -- more to come
I have now added an example with discrete events to the model catalogue. See http://www.simulistics.com/examples/catalogue/queueing-group-atm-machines. It is a pure event based model with no continuous processes. You will need Simile v6 to run it, or you can run it in SimiLive using the button at the bottom of the page.
I will add more soon! Please comment if there are any aspects of this model that need more explanation.
Another discrete-event example
I've added another example of discrete event modelling to the catalogue, this one showing how it can be combined with association submodels and population channels. This one simulates a nuclear reaction.
