SimileProlog-SimileXMLv3 conversion using XSugar 0.2

Release notes

A development snapshot release to allow developers of other tools a preview of the conversion tool with SimileXMLv3 to Simile Prolog working though the reverse conversion is not fully working. (Due to problems with handling of white space etc. as the tool is ported to the new version of xsugar with consistency checking.)

The release is the form of a zip file including, the Xsugar rule set, the appropriate xsugar jar file and example models in SimileProlog and SimileXMLv3.

  3. conversion of Vensim Prolog to Simile Prolog.

This page sets out that thinkingthat led to this approach.

The conversion between other model-representation lanugaes and Simile operates at two levels:

Simile v5.1 released

What's new in Simile v5.1?

Simile 5.1 is a maintenance release, fixing problems that emerged after the major change to Version 5, and also those arising on the increasingly popular Macintosh platform. Here is a list of some of the more significant improvements that have been made over Simile v5.0:

  • Opening context menu by double clicking on a component is more reliable – many other improvements have been made to the responsiveness of diagram editing
